Glen Perkins

Glen Perkins is a native of Minnesota and was a member of the University of Minnesota’s Golden Gopher Baseball team.  Following an outstanding college career, Glen was drafted in the first round of the 2004 MLB draft by the Minnesota Twins.  He made his Major League debut against the Boston Red Sox on September 21, 2006.  In May of 2008, he recorded his first Major League win in May of that season versus the Texas Rangers.  In 2012 he was named the Twins closer and quickly became one of the game’s premier closers.  He was named to the American League All-Star teams in 2012, 2014 and 2015.  In the 2015 season, he posted an impressive 3.32 earned run average and recorded 32 saves in 60 appearances with 54 strikeouts.  We’re thrilled to have Glen on our Staff!
