What’s a fantasy camp experience really like?
Well in large part that’s up to you – after all, it’s your fantasy!
At the Minnesota Twins Baseball Fantasy Camp you’ll dress each day in a professional locker room – alongside former Minnesota Twins greats. You’ll receive the same meticulous attention from our staff of trainers as the pro’s do. And, you’ll be playing at Lee Health Sports Complex – on the same fields used in Spring Training by current Twins players.
During your week in camp you’ll play a minimum of seven games, including an end of the week camper team tournament and championship game. One afternoon you’ll get the opportunity to match your skills against the major leaguers in our Pro/Camper game played in beautiful Hammond Stadium – Spring Training Stadium of the Twins! You can play as little or as much as you like and try a variety of positions at camp.
Our staff of former Major Leaguers will also be happy to sign autographs and pose for photos.
Included in your camp registration, each morning you’ll find breakfast waiting for you at the Press Dining Room at the Lee Health complex. Your lunch will be prepared and served at the complex between your daily double headers. You’ll meet the Pro Staff and your fellow campers on Saturday evening at our welcoming reception. During the week we’ll hold four banquets, two of which will involve our Kangaroo Court with the honorable Bert Blyleven presiding. During the week we’ll have optional evening activities planned for you, including a poolside cigar and autograph party. At the final banquet we’ll recognize the camp champions and award winners and hold an auction to raise money for the Lee County Children’s Hospital (all Kangaroo Court fines go to charity as well).
Your registration provides for double occupancy accommodations at the Crowne Plaza at the Bell Towers Hotel – Camp Headquarters. All of the banquets and evening events will be held at the Crowne Plaza. Campers interested in their own room can be accommodated with an additional up-charge charge for the week.
