Jacque Jones was drafted by the Minnesota Twins in the 2nd round of the 1996 amateur draft.  Following three years in the minor leagues, he was brought to the Major Leagues in 1999 and played his first game on June 9th, of that season.  He began his career as a Center Fielder, but move to Left Field to accomodate teammate, Torii Hunter.  Between 2002-2003, he batted over .300 and helped the Twins to the play-offs.  The Twins outfield was considered among the fastest in baseball in 2005, featuring Jacque, Torii and Shannon Stewart.  Jacque also played with the Chicago Cubs, Detroit Tigers and Miami Marlins organizations.
